Greater Park Hill Sertoma Club (GPH) was formed in December, 1985, as a civic organization of business and professional people who are interested in being of service to their community. SERTOMA is an acronym of three important words – SERvice TO MANkind. GPH supports projects to assist individuals with speech, hearing, and language challenges. It also sponsors community projects for youth, women, and seniors. And, GPH continues to sponsor programs that promote freedom and democracy. The Club's Scrapbooks highlight the members participating in a broad variety of community support events throughout each year.
The GPH Sertoma membership includes one honorary member, Jeweldine Blair, the wife of our late founder Mr. Omar Blair. She visits our club during special events, supports our Christmas Basket and the Soap Box Derby financially. Her daughter, Debbie Blair, principal of Blair Middle School, is also an active supporter.
